Instructions

Operating temperature

The optimum operating temperature for the BeCode AIR / AIR+ is  temperature range between 14º C and 24º C.

What needs to pay attention at first programming?

The first supplied card to the lock will be programmed in Fixed Mode as Main-Admin Card and in Free Mode as Master Card!

Functional description

When the BeCode AIR / AIR+ is unlocked with a keycard, the crown has to be turned within approximately four seconds in order to open the lock. After that amount of time has ex¬pired, the BeCode AIR / AIR+ will be relocked automatically.

When the BeCode AIR / AIR+ is unlocked with a keycard and the lock is opened by turning the crown, the cabinet door can be opened and closed as often as desired without the BeCode AIR / AIR+ automatically locking it again. The BeCode AIR / AIR+ will only be relocked when the crown is turned back to the original position.

Timeout

The programming or deprogramming mode is terminated when no action is carried out (i.e. the card is neither introduced nor removed) for approximately 10 seconds. The BeCode AIR / AIR+ blinks red once.

Proper storage of the RFID cards

Brand-new RFID cards should not be stored near the BeCode AIR / AIR+ in order to avoid any unintentional programming.

The cards themselves may be stored together. They will not influence each other.

The Main-Admin card should definitely be stored in a safe location, such as in a safe.

Which cards are available?

In Fixed Mode there are Main-Admin Cards, Admin Cards and Keycards.
In Free Mode there are one Master Card ("master key function") and Keycards.
